What makes PNH 2 different from PNH in Cordova?

Our new facility, the Majestic Valley Lodge, is in a remote Alaskan location, 113 road miles from Anchorage on the Tahneta Pass. We are offering only 12 guests each week to enjoy and explore this new location. The area where we are located is known to locals as the “blue hole”. Access to good quality skiing is expected almost daily. Snow pack is expected to be similar to that of Cordova, however colder temperatures will exist making snow conditions fantastic. For this first season on each fly day first descents will be the agenda for the day. All guests are going to be able to ski and ride a part of the Chugach Mountain Range that has only been explored before by a few. The possibilities are endless in this part of the range. We have not even mentioned the Talkeetna Mountains on the other side of us.

The Talkeetna Mountains are in an area that really have never been utilized by heli-skiers and have some serious potential. Already talks of a major ski resort are in the works for the Hatcher Pass area just down the road. The Talkeetna Mountains are big and full of glaciers like that of the Chugach. Opportunities to name large peaks are endless.
