Ice Axe Expeditions
Ski Cruise 2008: Journey to the Antarctic Peninsula
October 29-November 10th, 2008

This voyage is one of the first of its kind as we travel south to ski in places never before touched by man. It will include all the elements of any other classic Antarctic cruise to the south however each day you will awake in a new location with many objectives at your fingertips.

Accompanying us on this trip is our very knowledgeable expedition leader and world renowned Polar explorer Mr. Doug Stoup along with an Antarctic historian, two ornithologists and a marine biologist. Visits to science stations, and hours of cruising in zodiacs marveling at the unique wildlife and ice features is what sets this trip apart from the rest, not to mention the opportunity to ski many objectives. Not all of our passengers will be skiers and those not skiing will be nature and adventure enthusiasts excited about the chance to see the Antarctic Peninsula with a group of active adults like yourself.

Warren Miller - "Children of Winter"

The latest film from Warren Miller "Children of Winter" is kicking off its fall tour October 22, 2008. The film is action packed and certain to fire you up for the coming winter!

Points North is proud to have the opening segment to the film this year while hosting US team members, Marco Sullivan and Olympic Gold Medalist, Seth Wescott on the Maritime Maid, doing what they love to do!

The new Rage film "Such is Life" is now playing at venues across the country. PNH along with Jamie Burge and Jessica Sobolowski got to enjoy the Chugach at it's finest and capture a great Alaska piece.
