Warren Miller - Dynasty
The new Warren Miller film this year "Dynasty" will have something a little
different. We had an idea of showcasing the guides' side of heli-skiing in Alaska
and all the variables that go with it. We were able to create a strong piece
featuring our guide team at PNH and we are looking forward to seeing the film this
fall. We hope that you go check it out when it comes to a theater near you!

National Geographic Adventure - #11
The May issue of National Geographic Adventure Magazine has done a feature
on the "50 Best American Adventures" in the US and Points North was rated #11. We
are honored and proud to be part of this feature.
Antarctica - 2009 Ski Cruise

Antarctica!! The 2009 Ski Cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula this November will be a
trip "not to be missed". Many of you have inquired and now is the time to get
ready! We do have a few spots left for the trip, however, they are going quickly! For
additional information please give us a call or checkout: http://expeditions.iceaxe.tv/cruises.
PNH Guides - What are they up to now?

Ben Mitchell
Congratulations is in order to our guide Ben Mitchell as he passed his AMGA Ski
Mountaineering Exam. As many of you know, it is a very hard credential to obtain
and we are very proud of him.
Kip Garre
Guide Kip Garre has been featured in the most recent
issue of the ESPN Magazine slating him as the "most interesting man in the world".
Kip has just returned from skiing off the summit of the Grand Teton and is now in
the Alaska Range attempting to climb and ski Mt. Foraker with Andrew Mclean and and a few others.
Tom Waclo and Will Paden
Tom Waclo and Will Paden are helping the progression in regards to safety with
their AVIVEST system. The airbag systems are just another tool to keep you safe in
the mountains and we encourage you to check out their product thats now available
to you: http://www.avivest.com
2010 and 2011 - We're gearing up, are you?
Our economy is slowly recovering, fuel prices are manageable and access to Cordova
is simple. Our private aircraft rates are among the best in the industry and
our base of operations is like no other! Where else can you sleep less than 100
feet from the water's edge, with 3 beautiful A-Star helicopters waiting to give you access to over 1,500 square miles of the best heli-accessed skiing in the world? We have been actively taking reservations for both 2010 and 2011 and now is
the time to secure your optimum times for travel.

Season 12 is going to be a big one with many new opportunities for PNH guests this
year. We are currently working hard with the Forest Service to gain access to new
lands and we are hopeful for the new opportunity. Additionally, we have
added two new yurt style camps in the zone for heli-assisted ski touring options
and staging areas to gain quick access to blue skies as they present themselves.
Both of these options will ultimately create more skiing and riding options for
everyone.
Thank you and we hope to see you soon...
Thanks to all of you that made it up to see us this year. It is your
energy and enthusiasm that keeps us motivated throughout the year! A HUGE thanks
also goes out to all of our staff and pilots from Northstar Helicopters. We are
very lucky to have all of you!
We thank-you for your time and if we have not yet seen you in Alaska, we do hope to
see you in the very near future!
Best,
Jessica & Kevin Quinn
