Kim Grant

Starting as a ski patroller in Telluride, Colorado in the late 90’s, she now works as a patroller and ski guide at Silverton Mountain in Southwest Colorado where she has worked for the past 11 years.

She has been ski guiding in the Chugach Mountains of Alaska for 10 years. In 2013, she began working at Points North and can’t imagine working anywhere else.

She has spent eight years as mountaineering guide on Denali working for Mountain Trip.

Her more memorable moments are skiing from the summit of Denali, self-support kayaking expeditions around the world and a having supporting role as a guide in Warren Miller’s “No Turning Back” in 2015.

Kim also teaches level I and II avalanche courses, ski guides many women’s clinics, is first-aid and cpr trained, advanced crevasse rescue certified, a professional member of the American Avalanche Association and a level III Heli-Ski US member.

Kim has worked as a professional in the ski industry for 16 years.
