What Our Clients Say
When my friends ask me about Alaska it’s going to be hard to sum it up in a few sentences. I will need to sit all of them down for an hour to talk about the amazing experience that was PNH in Cordova, Alaska. Thanks for the incredible views, food heli and most of all the camaraderie!

Jessica, Kevin and the gang at PNH – and special mention to Jason. Well, we salvaged the week with 2 great days! Outstanding service and great environment, despite Mother Nature not cooperating at the outset. Many thanks for another memorable AK trip!!

When Kevin and Jessica Quinn said “come on up and see us sometime” at our bi-annual snow science conference a few years ago, I figured it was a long shot I’d ever actually get up to Points North Heli Adventures (PNH), their legendary heli-skiing operation out of Cordova, AK. As a longtime cheapskate and … Continue reading with photos >>

Jess and Quinner, hard to believe it’s been 5 years already…trips me out how time fly’s but there is no other place I would rather sit and wait for the best days ever! I’ve had the best days of my life here thanks to you guys and the day I leave every year I already can’t wait for the next 11 months to hurry up and get over. Till next April.

This was the first time I have ever been to AK. I picked PNH because of some of my teammates have been there before. I was also attracted to PNH because its “all inclusive” operation witch would give me the best first experience for big mountain riding. The snow was amazing for April and while I was able to get an unforgettable week, l felt like I gained better knowledge of the backcountry. I cannot wait to come back again soon! Thanks PNH.

This place is the best! Thank-you for the wonderful welcome, food, skiing adventures and new friendships. I can’t believe I am leaving…way too soon but I will be back! Of all my travels around the world, this was one of the best times of my life, sometimes it’s more than just about skiing. Keep up your dream making abilities Points North! See you soon 🙂

Kevin, Jess and PNH, I can’t thank-you all enough for such a great vacation, er: our honeymoon! Pete (my husband) was telling me about our plans and, while I was excited, I could not begin to imagine how great this could be. The entire staff is so accommodating and genuinely enthusiastic about this area, the activities, and the showing us a good time! And the down days were fun too! We will always remember you guys and how great you made our honeymoon!

Quinner and Jess: I wanted to thank you guys for such a great time in Alaska this year. I really appreciate the extra mile you guys go to for us. I have only been away for a month, but I started dreaming of Alaska since the first day away. Sometimes I wish I could stop time and stay eternally in that magic zone that you guys make possible for all of us to enjoy. Thanks again for having the vision and motivation to make it all happen.

What a great operation you have at PNH. Nice guides, great food and the mountains are the best I have ever seen. Mekali and I had the very best ski day ever – that means a lot since I have been everywhere.

Thanks to everyone at PNH. You guys are my clan on the other side of the world. Keep up the incredible work and I cannot express y gratitude enough. Take care and much love.

Epic..I can relax now and wait until next year. Every run was the best run(s) of my life, until the next one.

This definitely goes down as one of the premiere experiences of my life! As an intermediate rider, I was very intimidated by the prospect of skiing in AK. When I got here, and saw the mountains, I was downright nervous! Any doubts that I had in myself or in the guides melted away after the first run! The guides selected runs that were exactly what I was after. It was as if they’d read my mind. Even through the steepest sections of slope, I felt comfortable because the guides were always supportive, patient and in good position. I never felt rushed, out of my element or in danger. It was nothing like I expected. Thank-you all for the best ski day of my life. We’ll be back!

Each year I come here it gets better and better. I’ve had so many special days in the Chugach with all of you, but this was my favorite. After a week of tour camp in 75 mph winds, skiing sastrugi, and getting caught in my first slide – to coming full circle and skiing blower pow on Toon Town with an unforgettable crew (thx Nate-dog, A-Ron, Jester, and Wikky-man) – absolutely unreal. Incredible day and even better two weeks. Special thanks go to Jeff, Brennan, & Wes. Tour camp was brilliant – can’t wait to go back. Those guys work so hard to make us comfortable 24/7. I felt so welcomed and safe out there despite difficult conditions – really special place. Anyways, I’m rambling now due to excess bourbon. Kitchen crew, office staff, & new pilot, Ryan – totally rad as usual. Great trip. I miss it already. I miss it always.

I simply want to thank PNH for the phenomenal experience. It was my virgin visit to AK and I’ll always appreciate being initially introduced to the Chugach through you and your guides. To say the least, you guys beam enough energy and passion that it’s contagious and I enjoyed meeting and spending time with your entire staff.

Even though the big league slopes are out of reach for me, there is terrain here for everyone and these incredible days have made me step it up! The insane terrain, powder, blue skies, lodge, food and camaraderie of dedicated skiers is addicting. Your operation is wonderful. The soul and spirit of the guides and crew is so real and infectious. Best of luck to you all and thanks for the ski experience of a lifetime.

We just wanted to say thank-you for providing such an outstanding vacation. We originally had planned for this to be our trip of a lifetime –now it looks like we’ll try and make a lifetime of trips to PNH. Thanks for making us feel like part of the PNH family!

I just wanted to say thanks again for showing me the time of my life. It was so amazing to see the huge terrain and then ski it. Everything about PNH is amazing. The Orca Cannery is the coolest and having the heli-pad right outside is a huge bonus. Tres and the boys in the kitchen really know how to feed a crew and the vibe in the NEFCO is very genuine and always nice. The guides were super professional. They did a standout job and they all did a great job getting us on some really cool slopes. So yeah, I am really pumped on PNH and just wanted to say thanks.

A long way from the 200 vertical I grew up on in WI. Even my new home in CO will seem small. Everything about this place is huge! I will never forget the hospitality and most ridiculous skiing. Thanks for pushing me while keeping me safe. Day 1 was unbelievable – so deep and soft, I got my first taste of skiing in the white room.

This vibe is unreal. Conditions are the absolute best. Personalities abound, in this little slice of heaven. I will never forget it. Not to mention the food, it rocks! This place is something special for sure. Thanks Quinner and Jess, Jimbo my guide and the entire crew, you guys are simply the best.

Had to drop a quick note about my amazing Alaska week. . . The people, weather, snow and terrain all combined for an unbelievable adventure. And I honestly believe it wouldn’t have happened without the Alaskan Ladies Week you hold each year. It brought together four strangers who became fast friends before the first day was through. You gave us the knowledge, guidance and support to tackle the Alaskan terrain. And as the days passed and the sun continued to shine, I felt my confidence grow and my skiing improve. Every day was even more fun than the next. Alaska, and especially Points North, is a unique experience every skier should be fortunate to have. Thanks so much to you, the entire PNH crew and the other “Alaskan ladies” for making one week out of the year easily the best week of my life!!

Jessica and Kevin, It has been a good ride these past 9 years. Celebrating my 70th birthday at PNH for 4 weeks in April and logging 119 runs on my monoski was the best ever. The powder was fantastic with 1 to 2 feet of powder on almost every run the first two weeks. Skiing the 45 & 50 degree steeps with Andrew and JMack was awesome. The terrain is incredible the kitchen crew is doing a great job and all the guides, pilots and Spoonman are the best. You guys have been like my winter family all these years and I look forward to seeing you for 4 more weeks in April 2013 when I celebrate my 71st. I was so lucky to run into Kevin at LA Ski Dazzle all those years ago. And the best part is the guides have our safety in mind on every run. Thanks again.

Wow, what a trip! Sitting down now trying to contextualize this is proving to be pretty hard! In short, it was the the icing on a big fat cake of a ski season. The season itself as everyone knows was all time here in the west. Dana and I were fortunate to get a ton of good days skiing in this winter. Skiing is a huge priority for Storm Day. You made the trip from UK worth the 40 hours it took. Don’t change a thing, this place is unreal. The Chugach is LaLa Land! Everyone made this trip very special. The lodge, the staff, the guides, the fuelers, the cooks the pilots and the most amazing riding in the most amazing mountains. Thank-you very much everyone, you guys rock. It’s so nice to see such great people in such a great place. Thanks for keeping us all safe too!

I never got to say thanks for an amazing time. I can’t tell you how fun it was to get out there with Kip and try to push myself in the Chugach. The terrain lived up to it’s reputation. For me it was a great first step and learning experience and I can’t wait to get back and keep working on my big mountain skills. I really learned to appreciate what you guys are doing up there. It’s a very special place.

When I saw my first Warren Miller movie about four years ago, I first saw PNH. I saw Seth Westcott boarding off knife-edged peaks on steep runs with great snow, when I heard you describing why people come and come back to PNH, and when I saw the spectacular place, I said to myself, “I want to do that”. I was in no place to do something like that at that time. I had been backcountry skiing for about 6 years, so I was comfortable with skiing off-trail and out of bounds. But I had never done anything close to what I saw in that movie. I started going to the gym, for the first time in my life. I started yoga. And I skied as much as I could. Now I have been there, done that. In 2 times at PNH, I have made 88 runs. I have had the best run of my life. The best ski day of my life and the best week of my life (all last year). Every day I have spent there has been a good day. The confidence that I have gained has made me such a better skier at home, or anywhere else for that matter. I have absolutely nothing to prove to myself or anyone else. As far as I am concerned, doing what I have done at PNH, and all that was involved in getting there, is the supreme achievement of my life. That is why the PNH hat is so significant to me and why I wear it every day. My picture on facebook, which jmack took of me last year, is on my wall and is the trophy of my life. I just want to enjoy flying around in the helicopter, skiing like nowhere else, enjoying your incredible hospitality and your wonderful extended family, meeting so many friends and interesting people, in a place like no other. You and Kevin are the best. No expectations, live in the moment.

It was perhaps one of the pinnacle moments in my life, certainly in skiing! Closing my eyes I can remember every ridge, rock and view as we made our way down Pontoon. These are the moments we all live to achieve, most don’t, and I feel very fortunate. The PNH crew was like a giant extended family, always there to help and entertain, almost never a dull moment. If I could imagine a perfect place to spend my winter, this would be it!

I was looking for a place for heliskiing where people come to because they have skiing in their hearts. I have found that at PNH, and without knowing other operators, I know that this is the perfect place!
