Brian Smith is an Exum Chief Guide and AMGA/IFMGA Mountain Guide with over 20 years of experience. He has guided since 2005 and is also a ski guide with Points North Heli-Adventures in Alaska. Based in Jackson Hole, he began as a ski patroller before transitioning to ski guiding. Brian has led climbs and ski expeditions across the U.S., Alaska, Canada, South America, and Europe, and teaches advanced avalanche courses. His notable achievements include major alpine linkups and speed ascents. Above all, he values time with his daughter and a life spent in the mountains.
