A Storied History with All the Amenities

Orca Adventure Lodge, located 2.5 miles from the town of Cordova and formerly known as the Orca Cannery, was established in 1887. It was resurrected and reimagined in the 1990’s by current owner Steve Rainey who runs a fishing and adventure lodge here in the summers (learn more). The lodge consists of a 37-room, two-story newly developed structure on the water’s edge, immediately adjacent to your helicopter’s landing pad.

FITNESS & Activities

Upon your return from a daily outing, a steaming wood sauna anticipates your arrival. However, if you still have some energy left from riding the Chugach powder, we have a gym with weights and cardio machines that are sure to give you a workout. Learn more about all lodge activities here.

Connectivity

Points North offers reliable high-speed wireless internet throughout the lodge. AT&T offers the best phone service, with Verizon getting better.

FINE ALASKAN CUISINE

Our head chef Jensen Hotaling and his talented team of cooks work hard to source the best ingredients Alaska has to offer. Each day they create a hearty breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our guests and staff, all included in your heli-skiing package.

The onsite restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as ample snacks throughout the day. On fly days, your guide will supply you with a lunch for your pack, there is nothing better than a picnic out in the zone! Enjoy a variety of seafood from some of the richest waters in the world, Alaska is famous for its halibut and Copper River red salmon.

We can cater to all dietary restrictions with enough advanced planning. Please let our office staff know upon check-in if there is anything we can accommodate.
